| This Web site is created
to show how I as a photographer see the many species of birds, how they
behave and be able to capture their fascination and graceful expression
on film. It is my intent to use these photos as persuasion to bring
people's
awareness of what beautiful birds we have here in the door step of a
busy
city like Hong Kong and hence the importance of conservation and the
need
to preserve our natural heritage.
I have included here in my portfolio images representing the many different aspects of bird photography. Most of all, I have tried to combine action photography such as bird in flight with artistic consideration thus making my bird photography an even more challenging assignment. Last but not least, it
is my belief that cropping of photos should be keep to an absolute
minimum.
A good photographer shall aim to getting the composition right at shoot
time and not afterward. With lots of practices this is not
unattainable.
Almost all my bird shots presented here are full-frame and with little
cropping. The better utilization of the film area, to fill the frame
with
subject you shoot, the higher the image quality you will achieve
resulting
in sharp, smooth and finer grain photos ...
